CAMEO staff (Cheryl and Menchu) and trustees (Barry, Simon and Lauren) had a great day at The Alzheimer’s Show in London.  The event brought together the leading voices in the field of dementia and offered a wide range of exhibitors and presentations.

It gave the team a great opportunity to talk to experts in so many areas of dementia and explore opportunities and innovation in the sector.

A really valuable experience was the virtual dementia tour run by Training2care that gave a great understanding of what a person living with dementia experiences daily.  The team found themselves standing in a darkened room with noises being played in their ears, spiked insoles in their shoes, strange gloves and restricted vision, trying to make sense of what they were meant to be doing.
